If you got here it is because you have already entered the test mode of the digital or Plug Play rain gauge and want to check if the sensor is connected. If you do not know how to enter the test mode, click here.

At this moment your device will be showing some audible and luminous indications. It will remain in this mode until you restart it.

The light indications by the LEDs and the sequence of ascending or descending sounds are the result of the test until that moment.

We have prepared a table for you to understand what each LED indication means.

Note that the first possible indication of results may mean that a test has not yet been performed. Then, when this combination appears, just perform the procedure described below to proceed with the test.

Rain gauge test:

  1. Remove the rain collector cup.

  2. Move completely the tipping bucket ten times (from one side to the other).

If your equipment has no problem and the procedures are performed exactly as described the sonorous indication will become ascending.

However, if after the above procedure the result of your test showing the flashing light and descending sound, remove the sensor connector and reinsert it into the device in the correct position(it must enter without forcing) and return to the step 1 above to start the test again.

If after performing all these steps and confirming that the connectors are properly connected, talk to your contact at Agrosmart or send us a message in the chat to report your problem.
